Mapei Eco Prim PU 1K Turbo is a one-component, solvent-free, moisture-curing polyurethane primer designed for consolidating, waterproofing, and preparing cementitious screeds and flooring substrates prior to floor covering installation.
This professional-grade rapid drying primer is specifically engineered for use on cementitious, anhydrite, and heated screeds where moisture control, substrate consolidation, and surface strengthening are required before installing parquet, vinyl, LVT, and other flooring systems.
Eco Prim PU 1K Turbo is suitable for substrates with elevated residual moisture levels and provides a fast-track flooring preparation solution with excellent adhesion and abrasion resistance.

Installation Overview
- Substrates must be clean, dry, and free from oil, wax, dust, loose particles, and contaminants prior to application.
- Apply Eco Prim PU 1K Turbo using a roller or brush.
- For porous substrates, one coat is generally sufficient. Additional coats may be required for highly porous substrates or surfaces with elevated moisture levels.
- Where smoothing compounds are required, Quartz 0.8 may be broadcast into the wet primer surface to improve adhesion.
- Professional installation is recommended for commercial flooring applications.
